that time they tested usb3 to C not sufficient enough?
Make sure your PC USB3 port can supply enough power and your cable is USB3 cable.

It works for me but still prefer wireless solution (virtual desktop).

If you have 5G router then should be pretty smooth.

Make sure your PC is connected by LAN cable to the router and the Oculus Quest is as close to the router as possible to reduce latency due to poor wifi signal.

Using the WMR Samsung odyssey+, its graphic quality is on par with the HTC vive Pro and without the need for the wall cameras

Heard good things about Samsung Odyssey but I heard its controllers not as good as Oculus.

brudders, can share the cost components of setting up a VR gaming at home?

brudder, depend if you want an independent head set, its oculus quest which goes for arnd 700+?

Option for the mentioned above is wire free, quality might not beat headset that connect to PC (also a variable)

Second option is headset connected to PC. Quality is better in general, its definitely more pricey. im not exactly sure whats the price for it.

Sorry, i am unable to elaborate more :(:(

Around $600+ for oculus Quest. Its a standalone VR headset so dont need PC. Only need handphone to activate.

Games have to buy from oculus store.

Hard to buy though coz always out of stock.

If you have gaming PC, can consider Oculus rift, samsung Odyssey+, HTC vive etc.

If you have PS4, can consider PSVR.

Ok got it, Standalone VR quality is not same as PC + headset VR.

Can share abit more: quality in what sense; Graphics realistism? Among of well design VR games? what roughly what percentage difference?

for PC + headset VR, what would be the hardware setup & price for such PC?

Graphic on PC will be much better obviously but depend on the game and your PC.

I think you can get a decent VR PC for around 1k.

From Aftershock.

VR headset and games not included.

Oculus Rift S use inside out tracking so dont need external sensors like the old rift, htc vive or valve index.

Actually the most important thing for VR is space. You need sufficient space to play without any obstacle. At least 2m by 2m.

Check out VR games such as half life Alyx, lone echo, Asgard Wrath, No Man Sky if you want to see graphic intensive VR games.

There are also skyrim VR and Fallout 4 VR.

Rookie on this subject, VR Gaming link-up with PC is 'Enthusiast-level' stuff, anyone has come across any good write-up pointers & details to share?

Just google. There is an active reddit community as well such as VRgaming, oculus and oculusquest.

Anyone interested in getting the new HP Reverb G2?

The graphics looks good. I plan to get one for the new MS flight sim.

The price is 599 USD on HP US website. A local dealer just quoted me S$980 w/o gst, which is just :s22::s22::s22:
