A question.

How you guys determine which RAM speed to buy? 3200, 3600 for e.g. Ryzen 3600.

Are Ryzen 3300x being sold locally already?

Lazada/Amazon-sg doesn't seem to have anyone selling, some price lists shows 3300x, some doesn't.

Fixed up the ek aio!

Temp comparison with the cryorig r1 with cpu vcore offset -0.1v:

Cryorig r1:
Full idle - 48C
Cinebench - max 83C; Score 6913; Core frequency 4038-4040mhz
Everyday use (chrome(18 tabs) with 2 emulator) - 57C-62C

EK AIO 240:
Full idle - 45C
Cinebench - max 77C; Score 6980; Core frequency 4075-4080mhz
Everyday use (chrome(18 tabs) with 2 emulator) - 57C-59C

Noise wise, it gets quite loud at about 80% fan and pump speed (not sure exact since fan and pump curve is set to 100% at 80C and i'm not hitting that limit.)

PC Themes use to list them but the latest pricelist, they are taken off. Maybe sold out everywhere cos it is faster than 3600 in gaming. :D

I see, thanks.

Yeah planning for my next rig and very confused about the state of 3300x when everyone is recommending 3600 instead :D

Just to take note this isn't a entirely fair benchmark seeing that 3300x is overclocked to 4500Mhz vs 3600 at 4300Mhz.

Surely even at stock, 3300x is still slightly faster in gaming given the architecture and faster clock speed.

But if your PC is also used for App or some game that utilize multi core and thread counts, 3600 does outperform in this area.

Imo, below link give a more fair review & recommendation:
https://premiumbuilds.com/cpus/ryze... on the GPU, the,for it in price differential.

Updated chipset firmware and temp seem to drop by afew more degree. normal load hovering between 52-55C instead of 57C-59C.

Spikes to 60 on loading of apps.

I don’t like it when people benchmark purely on gaming. After all when you have a PC you will use it for tasks where the availability of more cores does help. And as Sean said IF they are to benchmark the speeds should be kept equal and go all out to mention that its a gaming specific test.
