Yet we still playing multi talented 28 yr old youngster Lingard.

The club better wish letting Gomes go would not haunt them.

The club has offered him a contract and he doesn’t want to sign. What else can the club do? Go on the knees and beg him? Christ

If he doesn’t want to stay, then good riddance and good luck to him. The academy has other talented players to take over his place

I saw Gomes in person when they came to Singapore for a meet the fans session and he was really really small. He may be skilful but a player of that size is really tough to play in the Prem. Andreas Pereira stood beside him that day and he was like a giant compared to Gomes, and Andreas isn’t big himself. Now you may tell me Juninho and David Silva can make it in the Prem so why not him? I don’t really know but those two players are supremely talented. The manager watches him day in day out, i do not believe he won’t give him a chance if he thinks Angel is good enough at the moment. Why would he sabotage a young player’s career at the expense of the team and himself?

Let him go thats his future if he do not wish to stay at United.
We can also groom another young talent.

Contract on the table, he don't wanna sign please let him go so that we can welcome new players.

Then there will be this group of people that are worried he will be successful later on an and we might pay more for him. Come mo la, if you can predict so far, go predict 4D numbers and buy yourself better.

So far only the departures of Ronaldo, Jam Stam and Pogba hurt us? So many others left and they didn’t exactly cause a ripple.

I don't think PaulP's departure hurt us at all, it was self-inflicted harm (to the money side) later on when the club decided to push through his return.
But CristianoR and JaapS indeed left a gap. David Beckham was also one notable departure that shouldn't have happened from our perspective, but turned out all the best for him. There was also Peter Schmeichel, and that episode showed how unprepared we were for an unplanned departure.

Did we dodge a Griezmann bullet? The recent Barca big signings like Coutinho, Dembele and Griezmann have been pretty sh.it.

Schmeichel couldn’t take the taxing playload so asked to retire to a lower league. He did say it was a mistake. He should have taken a sabbatical instead of quitting United. Otherwise King Cantona can also be considered.

Yup, but we didn't suffer too much outfield for too long. The GK department was hardly in a good state for a long time, and depended heavily on a good defence. Now it's the other way around, a sub-optimal defence depending heavily on the GK.

Henderson? Wait and see. The demands playing for United and Sheffield is very different. Tim Howard was god for Everton. Sh.itty at one point wanted to pay £50M for Johnny Evans when he was at WBA?

Pogba hurt United meh? With him back at United prove it is the right decision to let him go lol and such a bad move to pay millions for him to come back
