mac in mac, windows in mac, linux in mac.
Generally a virtual machine hypervisor for u to run most x86 based virtual guest. You can built, it will run on top of the hypervisor. However hypervisor is not emulator like qemu. :)

Buy in Apple store SG. Buy the one time license as its forever but it will be tied up to your Mac and license cannot be transfer. Subscription base is quite expensive and need to pay yearly but you will get all the future updates from parallels.
