Anyhow knows how Syfe knows when to rebalance the reit+ portfolio. Just nice before market crash on Thursday Syfe actually rebalance back to 50:50
Previously was what ratio? I read somewhere they readjust based on volatility

The rebalancing band is simply +/- 5% of the current reits allocation which is 50%

It went to 55%, thats why rebalanced back to 50%. It just so happened that it was before the drop

Depends on situation with no set date. I added funds just few days before the rebalancing ended up buy then sell transactions to the same counter just few days later.

Does the iEdge S-REIT Leaders Index (previously called the iEdge S-REIT 20 Index) perform significantly better than the other indexes tracked by REIT ETFs traded on SGX?

If there is not significant better performance, then what's the advantage of investing in Syfe REIT+ (the 100% S-REITs version) (rather than a REIT ETF)?

fees is lower than ETF if you invest more than 20k and Syfe has option for dividend reinvest.

OK, 2 advantages of Syfe REIT+ over REIT ETFs.

However, is there any (performance) advantage of tracking iEdge S-REIT Leaders Index over other REIT indexes?

Or is it because this is the only index Syfe could use because the other indexes are already used by (and licensed to) other REIT (exchange-traded) funds?

Just as an FYI for those invested in REIT+, they just sold off SPH Reit and Starhill Global completely, tweaked the weights for the existing REITs (the obvious one is a higher weight in Keppel DC REIT, and they stopped buying Mapletree Commercial & Mapletree NAC when I deposited on Thursday, and therefore bought on Friday), and bought Ascendas India, AIMS APAC & First REIT.

Actually why dun they just buy all the reits in SGX and the weightage according to their market cap?

That way it truly a true representation of buying the SG reit market

Maybe they lowering weights on those still under performing?

Just checked. They also reduced weights on BUOU and K17U.

I guess
1. To make their life easier by using sampling replication
2. No fx exposure

Does anyone know what is the historical dividend yield for the new Leaders Index? The previous S-REIT20 index has a dividend yield of 5.1% for 2019.

As per Syfe website, the new Leaders index has a "5-Year Annual Return: 8.4%", but it didn't mention about the annual dividend yield.

to those who have invested in this...

are we allowed to do ad-hoc top ups on top of the monthly dca amount?
e.g. aug +5k, dec +15k

and can we liquidate a portion of the portfolio on an ad-hoc basic?
