Hi all, a quick question regarding toilet seat cover.

When replacing seat cover, can I just use any generic seat cover? Or do I have to go back to the specific brand model. Mine is a Bravat toilet bowl and I don't see it at Hoe Kee or Sim Siang Choon.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. And can I DIY? Or need handyman to do it.

toilet seat cover got 3 general shapes, U, oval, and round. Looks odd if swap wrong shape.

Only one stop place is sim suang choon at changi south. Bring along existing to match.

Can DIY, very easy. Just make sure you buy the right one that fits.

I bought from TB last time, quality much better than the old one that came with the toilet bowl.

Anyway, I doubt the ones that came with most toilet bowls, are from the same brand.

These are the shapes in general:

Take the measurements of your current seat cover as below so that you get the right match:

Bravat is not cheap... Hoe Kee or Sim Siang Choon will definitely not be carrying spare parts for this brand.

Can try Econflo Systems - they are the main dealer for Bravat in Singapore.

If you manage to get the correct part, DIY replacement is not a problem, just remember to tape over the hole before removing anything - to prevent items from falling into the hole.

Can buy a generic one but may not be the right fitting.

When I changed my seat covers after 9 years, I bought back the same model.

I think the changi south branch is closed already.
