Not much info online. I suggest just open the laptop, you should be able to see the upgrade path.

If it only has a hdd, then it mostly you need Sata ssd. Aka they are the one that looks like a hard drive. You can take a look and see if it has a nvme slot.

It looks like a NVME but you have to make sure you have the right one. There are 2280 and diff numbers (the numbers = the lenght of the SSD).

You can replace your HDD with a SATA SSD as well.

2280 is longest you can get it in. if you bought 2260 or 2242 i believe you can lock the ssd down using the different screw holes available on the board.

The best bet is to find the optimum ssd that the slot is designed for.

Or you get a friend w a nvme ssd and see if it fits.

If you have time, find a friend with a spare ssd nvme and see if it fits and recognizes as a drive :D

That's a safest fail proof way.

Sucks when they don't reply.

Seem using M.2 SSD and not PCIe SSD (NVMe).

There should be a label with the model number at the bottom of the laptop.

15" 7th Generation
AFTERSHOCK MX-15 (N850HJ)
AFTERSHOCK MX-15 Pro (N850HP6)
AFTERSHOCK MX-15 Elite (N850HK1)

15" 8th Generation
AFTERSHOCK MX-15 (N850EJ)
AFTERSHOCK MX-15 Elite (N850EK)
AFTERSHOCK MX-15 Pro (N850EP6)

Then google for "clevo N850??" or search at crucial.com
eg:
www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/clevo/n850hj
www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/clevo/n850hp6
www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/clevo/n850hk1

Seem to be M.2/NGFF (2280)
