I was looking at Nokia 110 which was cheap around 40+, however it seems that it supports 2G only. Unusable in SG telco. Anyone have any recommendations? Ty.

Nokia 3310 3G, Nokia 8810 4G or Nokia 220 4G.

All below S$100, available from online platforms like Shopee. And you may see the first two in physical shops occasionally as well.

Somehow in the coming years, 3G would close down soon, best to get at least a 4G phone

Yeah, when 5G starts. Since most singaporeans are already on 4g, 3G adoption rate decrease alot. Even new senior plans are on 4G.

For China it will depend on the telco.

China Mobile -- get rid of TD-SCDMA 3G, keep GSM 2G

China Telecom - get rid of CDMA based 2G/3G

China Unicom -- get rid of 2G GSM, keep WCDMA 3G
