anyone installed Big Sur public beta on MacBook Pro 16? Is it stable?

I am hoping to get the 4k netflix and YouTube on safari early...
not stable, random crash multiple times when wake from sleep.
Battery level on Usage History also keep missing information.
I have scaling issue when connecting to my 4k monitor, initially just want to test the 4k youtube on Safari, but getting sick with the buggy scaling on everything else.

Anyone know of a good docking station for this laptop?

Caldigit TS3 only goes to 87W and j5create JCD543 only supports 4k@30hz.

Anyone with MBP 16 inch facing the same problem as me?

When I attached a thumbddrive to use and subsequently when I shut down the computer .. it will take quite awhile to turn off and the noisyfan noise can be heard if you listen carefully

Keen to know abt noisy fan but during 4k video playback on external monitor

13 inch MBP 2018 fan ramps up when 27inch is playing 1440p in fullscreen

Just bought a refurbished MacBook Pro 16 inch base model delivered today.
The manufacture date seems pretty old, 16 cycle counts, design capacity also lowered.
Can anyone advise if this is acceptable?

It’s normal for refurbished set. Well, you can return and order again if the config is still available.

Anyone using this with external display? My fan spin like mad when plug into an external display. Even when just doing basic stuff like word, browsing etc.:s11::s11:

Try using Macs Fan Control and setting a custom fan profile.
Personally using
Sensor : CPU Proximity
Low : 20C
High : 65C

2x display out and laptop is at 50-60C with constant fan noise. Nothing too distracting.
