I am really missing those cruising days, can't wait to cruise again. It will be great to cruise on World Dream, looking forward a new experience and perhaps some new slot games pnboard =:p
I trust SG govt, if they say cruises are ready, it means ready. As long as the operators and every paxes following all safety measures, there is no problem to cruise in short future, I wish to be the 1st pax to go onboard World Dream. ;)

Most likely need to do and pay for swab test before boarding.

If this is cruise to no where i dont think there will be a test for the passengers.

The ship will need to certified and crew all ok before they can even start operations.

The entire ship crew do PCR test that i confirm will have.

Now is for the public to trust and have confidence for cruising. If they make things hard to cruise confirm not many will go..

personally I have no issue going back to cruising, only hope that they enforce the use of trace together onboard...If there were to be an infected case, only those come in close contact will be isolated.

Well thats true.. Personally i have no issue on this too except if they want to do pcr then i feel it is not worth it. If explorer dream can do such a good job why not WD.

does not means swab test..it can be those rapid test kit

It is still not very clear what type of test they are applying or is it payable on this article.

PCR test aka swab test may take up to a day or few days as it has to be done in a lab

A antigen test/rapid test kit may take less then 10mins or even 5 mins for a result.

But good thing the measures taken is to ensure a good and safe trips.

Heresay the swab test cost $45.
If true, then I will not go for my Nov 13 cruise. But do they penalise by deducting my credit points?

Very very good that everyone is Covid19 tested. Peace of mind.

Any info regarding 6 Nov ETD and 8 Nov ETA. Thanks.

2 paxes per cabin, 3rd and 4th paxes chargeable if any.
I have my March booking postphone till Nov, already asked my agent to book for 6 Nov and hopefully still have cabin coz only 50% capacity.

Checked confirm + chopped, CASINO will open ( that's my main purpose for cruising :s13:)

the stb news release say negative covid test results for all passenger prior to boarding..

So what does this means? Means you need to certify prior to boarding? or at the time of embarking?

The whole process still vague at this point

Good policy to ensure
1) Test for everyone before boarding
2) Only SG residents (no ceca, i cant stand them onboard, especially the pool)

Air travel will not be safe/possible till vaccine available so cruise is the next closest. It will be popular and I will not be surprise if every sail date is fully booked.

However, I guess Nov/Dec majority will adopt wait and see approach. If proof safe enough, no incident it will pack next year
