Sorry silly question - so after 80% subsidy, my company has to pay $1572 - (80% of $1500 = $1200) = $372, correct?
No. The price is broken down into $1488 for the laptop and $84 for the Microsoft licence.
So you'll get 80% subsidy for both, which is $1257.60
Then also need to add GST of $1572.
Basically you pay $1572 x 1.07 - $1257.60
Nett will be $424.44

On the step by step guide, it says that there's a requirement of a usage report.

Also read somewhere that they may audit you, so kind of troublesome and no guarantee can get the claim
