Never say never, the riots in thailand will turn violent soon enough.

When it was red vs yellow, it turned violent already.

This time round, they don't have a highly respected king who will tell them to stop and they will comply.

Times have changed for thailand.

racist to this extend..... sigh....

and i thought when i was studying there, the HOD is racist is bad enough....

Credit where credit is due the aussies do try their best to look past race.

But after hours with a few beers in them, you get to see the monsters come out.

What is more sad is that, without even adding beer into the equation, those voted into office are already racist.

Hanson is one, that fugger is another one.

More or less, that nation is still quite racist lah.

Here is more interesting lah, when the monks join the protest, can see that the soldiers don't dare to do anything, but at the same time, the monks are spending their goodwill points frivolously, not knowing that blackhands are motivating the civilians to protest and riot.

End of the day, once the first bullet is fired, usually the one with the bigger stockpile of weapons and trained people will win.

Get ready for some computer parts to go up in prices.

There is no doubt at all that too many White Aussies are racists. :s22::s22:
Those who go there often or had studied or lived there will know.

Chinese Australians complain of 'McCarthyism' at inquiry
OCTOBER 15, 202012:03 PM

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Three Australian citizens of Chinese ethnicity who were asked to condemn the Chinese Communist Party as they appeared before a government inquiry into diaspora issues have criticised the incident as like “McCarthyism”.

A Senate committee is examining problems facing diaspora communities, and the three Chinese Australians had been invited to attend a hearing on Wednesday.

The Liberal Senator for Tasmania, Eric Abetz, known for hawkish views on China, asked the three Chinese Australians to “tell me whether they are willing to unconditionally condemn the Chinese Communist Party dictatorship”, a transcript shows.

Yun Jiang, a China analyst who previously worked in the Office of Prime Minister and Cabinet, had spoken to the committee about the “toxic environment for Chinese-Australians who engage in public policy debates right now”.

“Senator Abetz proceeded to interrogate each of us on our views of the Chinese Communist Party, as some sort of loyalty test”, Jiang said in a statement sent to Reuters on Thursday.

Wesa Chau, Labor’s Deputy Lord Mayor candidate for Melbourne, said “in race-baiting McCarthyism, myself and two other Chinese-Australian witnesses were subjected to a public loyalty test”.

Chau is a board member of the Australian government’s National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.

“McCarthyism” refers to U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy’s much-vilified campaign in the 1950s to expose Communist sympathisers in the United States, including in Hollywood and the arts.

Osmond Chiu of the Per Capita think tank wrote in the Sydney Morning Herald that he was born in Australia, and refused to answer Abetz’s question because it was demeaning.

Senator Abetz responded in a statement on Thursday: “Standing firm against ugly dictatorships is everyone’s duty. I, therefore, make no apology for the exchange.”

Race Discrimination Commissioner Chin Tan wrote in a submission to the inquiry that a national anti-racism strategy is needed to protect Australia’s multicultural society because the country’s national security also depends on its capacity to protect unity.

“No Australian should have their loyalty to this country questioned or undermined because of their ethnic origin, nor should they be required to prove their loyalty,” Tan said, in comments reported by SBS, the multicultural broadcaster on Thursday.

I think the situation is different for red vs yellow.

That said, any peaceful demonstrations do have a potential to turn violent as things drag on, or when someone turns violent.

Well its australia, not surprising :s8:

Well as the saying goes, since they hate China to the core then stop trading with China lor. See who die first. :s8:

Hoping to have no violence there. So far it's been relatively peaceful. But things could turn ugly quick especially when guns are readily available over there. All they need is for someone to mingle with the protesters and fire at police from within the crowd.

It had happened before numerous times liao when extremist mix in with the peaceful people.

Now that the current Thai King had 2 regiment of troops under his command, things could possibly go south very fast.

Anyway better to be safe then sorry, going to hoot WD Hdd naw! :s12:

How come Hongkieland is not asking it's Loving Fairy Godmother QE II or Doting Fairy Godfather Trump for money to help fight the recession?

Instead, asking their Ah Gong that they hate so much to give them $$$$$?

Carrie Lam: May Ask Beijing for Handout to HK Airport amid Pandemic Blow
2020/10/19 10:14

HKSAR Government is looking at possible imploration at the Chinese government for lifelines to the city, as Chief Executive Carrie Lam told Wen Wei Po. That may potentially include support on the local aviation sector for faster recovery, giving full play to Hong Kong International Airport's function, and relaxed requirements to local vehicles' northbound travels as Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link is coming into operation by the year end via Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

The financial hub does value Hong Kong International Airport despite the devastating pandemic blow on the aviation industry, explained the city leader.

In other news, Thailand 5th consecutive day of protest liao.

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/new...recalls-parliament-protests-pressure-13313334

"They have also copied many tactics employed by Hong Kong protesters during months of frequently violent clashes there last year, including using improvised protective clothing in case of confrontations with riot police."

live stream.

Let's see.. Many countries now also busy with their internal affairs... Hence not much reporting.... But probably it's not about China..... So less publicity....
