Still waiting for my M1-MBA 512/8gb to arrive around 9th - 16th Dec, hope no delay, once arrive got 60 days to decide to get AppleCare+, still undecided as of now.

My Mac Mini M1 (base 8GB/256GB configuration) just got delivered to my home. Order Placed on17 November 2020.
I will try it this evening.
My Mac mini shipment has been processed in Singapore at 9 am. Not sure if DHL could deliver today but definitely no later than tomorrow.
Btw, anyone using HomePod as Mac speakers? Is it possible to use two HomePod mini as stereo speakers with Mac?

I only have one HomePod. But the logic should be the same with two speakers.
You will be able to use it as speakers, but there will be a slight delay (video playback) for the audio to sync properly.

i think yours is the same as mine. it’s out for delivery
MacOS only do airplay1, except itunes can do airplay2.
you can try pairing them as a stereo first, then airplay to that. I have not tried.

heavy messaging using whatsapp and telegram
surfed web using chrome and safari
download programs using transmission
install and uninstall programs
backup and sync with google drive
edited a few videos using FCP and Lumafusion
m1 mba battery damn good sia.
think my thinkpad battery will uplorry maybe on the same day with all these done.
