XIAOMI MI 11 WITH SNAPDRAGON 875 AND 48MP ULTRA-WIDE-ANGLE LENS LEAKED

According to past practice, Xiaomi usually launches Qualcomm’s new-generation Snapdragon flagship platform for its so called digital (Mi) series. This time, as you guess, it will be the Xiaomi Mi 11 (or the Mi 20, who knows). It is speculated that the ultra-wide-angle main camera of the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be 48MP. In fact, this is a significant upgrade compared to the 13MP of the previous generation Mi 10.

In addition, the other big expectation of the Xiaomi Mi 11 is the Snapdragon 875 processor. This is the first time that Xiaomi will use a 5nm smartphone chip.

WHEN WILL XIAOMI MI 11 COME?
By convention, the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be released around February. However, if the Samsung Galaxy S21 series is released in January, then Xiaomi may also launch the Xiaomi Mi 11 in January.

HERE’S THE FIRST LIVE PHOTO OF THE UPCOMING XIAOMI MI 11 AND MI 11 PRO

Qualcomm will hold the Snapdragon 2020 Technology Summit on December 1 this year, at which the presentation of the new flagship Snapdragon 875 SoC is expected.

Today, a well-known Chinese insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station posted a photo on his Twitter page, which supposedly shows the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro smartphones for the first time. The source captioned the photo simply: “See you at the end of the year.” This means that the announcement of smartphones may take place even earlier than expected.

XIAOMI MI 11 PRO SCREEN FEATURES REVEALED IN NEW MIUI 12 CODE

In addition to the high-resolution panel, Xiaomi will introduce some new display functions on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. An XDA senior member recently discovered some new display functions in the latest MIUI 12 beta code. This includes MEMC video frame supplement, video real-time SDR to HDR as well as video super-resolution.

Xiaomi has implemented MEMC in several previous mobile phones, including Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Xiaomi 10T Pro. However, the company is yet to use the video real-time SDR to HDR or video super-resolution functions in any of its devices. There are some other devices on the market that provide real-time SDR to HDR video conversions, such as OPPO Find X2 Pro and OnePlus 8 Pro. At present, it is unclear whether Xiaomi will use self-developed display technology to provide these functions, or will obtain authorization from companies such as Pixelworks. Speculations are that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will pack these features.

I read the Snapdragon 888 specs macham like a desktop.
To be frank, I don't need those speed as I don't game. All I need is a good large screen, super long battery life and a decent camera with ois. Plus a sub 500 price.
