No MeWatch ?

Only certain models of LG TV have mewatch pre-installed. They have licensing deal with Mediacorp.

Others have to chromecast using phone to android TV or tv box.

8K TV have already included AV1 decoding

Skyworth and Xiaomi 4K TV also have AV1 decoding

All 4K TV (2021) should include AV1 decoding

PC to Prism 4K @ 60Hz

Has anyone successfully get 4K resolution from their desktop/laptop to their Prism TV at 60hz?

previously I owned an E43, I tried my desktop's HDMI port, which didnt support 60hz

later I bought another cable, DP to HDMI.

this was to connect to my desktop via DP and HDMI to TV. apparently, the specs of my motherboard states that it supports 4K resolution at 60hz from this DP outlet.

but I was still unsuccessful.

after 2 months of owning the TV, I managed to return it and get a refund bcos my TV had issues they couldn't resolve. The TV will silent reboot by itself every 8 hours. the screen doesnt come on, but the system is on. How I know this? bcos my sound system comes on which was triggered by the ARC connection from the TV to my system. I could hear my sound system turning on and also the lights came out.

also, other TV owners faced the same issue. I bet there were more cases because many people were not aware as there is almost no way for you to notice the silent reboot unless u sit in front of the TV for 24 hours and notice the standby light go off or if your connected sound system turns on (thats if u hear or see it)

anyway..... I got a Xiaomi 43S after that. from Qoo10.

I connected it to my desktop using the DP to HDMI cable...

and voila, I managed to get the 4K 60Hz I wanted.

so Im wondering if anyone managed to do it because Prism TV IS supposed to support this

QLED and Quantum BACKLIGHT is vastly different.

QLED is proprietary panel by Samsung. very likely they won't sell it to Prism+

They sold it to TCL and Hisense, maybe more in the future

Noticed that Prism says their is Quantum.. not Quantum dot.. is this meant to make people think their TV is as good as Qled?
