A lot depends on what yr genetics are. Had heard people lamenting why they couldnt achieve that six-pack abs. Either they had train the wrong way, eat the wrong food or shall i say it is really all plain genetics. It cant be help. Sadly but true.

Besides a sensible diet, u need the right medication. Try minoxidil. (Forget about those fantastic ads showing in the media..) The best method (if u have the $ to burn) is hair transplant.

abs are not genetic. shape and look, but getting them to show is like you said, diet and training. people love to use genetics as an excuse to compansate for their ill discipline and lack of hard work. ANYONE can see abs.

that is what i mean. genetic as in the sense the way they develop. Some people can have a 8-pack while some no matter how hard they train, the shape and definition of the abs just wouldnt show. Adequate training and effort is something we can control but not genetics.

I heard oily scalp tend to result in hair loss too, so if you have oily scalp you need to wash your hair often :D and get the right shampoo too.

Ask your hairstylist recommend you shampoo. If everything fails go Beijing 101. :s22:

Abs shapes are genetic.. Some staggered and some symmetrical.. But size of abs is not genetic, it's hardwork. :s7:

From what my hairstylist told me, when you use clay and wax(esp the well know brand starting with G) and nv wash shampoo your hair well enough, the residue or dirt will slowly accumulate and block your scalp. Hence producing hair that is thin...

Just wash clean...If needed wash TWICE...if not dont use wax/gel...

Another thing, when you use wax/clay, apply to the tip of your hair not the root of your hair. :s7:

Thanks for the advice guys :D .Most probably it's because of my poor diet,i'm undernourished so it could be that my proein intake is too low :s16: .No,i've never dyed my hair and i just started to use gel for the hair, never used clays before nor do i think it's because of dirt acumulation, because i wash my hair almost two times a day with shampoo everytime. :s22:

I think most thinning hair problems are due to lifestyle n diet, premature balding is due to genetics~

If your hair loss is not due to high stress levels or undesirable lifestyle habits and diets, it will boil down to your genetics

The docs in the hospitals will tell you that there are only 3 things that are scientifically proven to help combat hair loss if the cause is genetic.

1) Minoxidil (topical hair spray)
2) Propecia (oral tablets)
3) Hair Transplant

Minoxidil costs about $35 per month
Propecia cost $3 per day (about $90 a month)
I dunno about the surgery cos its really out of my league.

However, minoxidil and propecia may or may not work for everyone.
Its not a 100% effective solution.
Plus, you will have to take them for life to keep your hair.
Stop the medication and the previous results you have got will just fall off.

I dun really trust those commercial hair treatment saloons. Just way too ex and no concrete promises. (had a not so nice experience at a reputable one, my bro-in-law also tried it b4 but no results)

Maybe you can try to work on your lifestyle habits and diets first.
Dun worry too much abt the hair loss. More stress = more loss
And dun scratch your scalp too much.

If you really wanna visit the doc, get a reference letter from a polyclinic. (think abt $20 for consultation)
The specialist docs will cost abt $60+ per consultation. (excludes the medication)

Hope u will find this useful.
