Cresyn LMX-E630RL | Overall Rating: 5 stars - Click for more photos
.....
Design/cord: 5 stars
This is where Cresyn got it correct. The LMX-E630 comes in 2 versions; a 1.2m long cord version and a 0.5m long version. My set is the 1.2m long version and the length is perfect for most users. ........From the joint/split, the left cord is 12cm long and the right is 43cm long, excluding the earpiece and it terminates to a funny ‘L’ shape gold plated plug.

afbug1,

thanks for clearing up the cord calculation.
so for the cresyn 1.2m long E630(R/D)L , the length is actually longer than 1.2m (measured from joint/split to funny L-shaped plug). If i would to calculate, the length from right earpiece to L-plug is (43cm + 120cm) = 163cm. Whereas from left earpiece to L-plug is (12cm + 120cm) = 132cm. :s22:

I presume the cresyn LMX-E630DS short (0.5m) cord would then be earpiece to L-plug is (43cm + 50cm) = 93cm ; left earpiece to L-plug is (12cm + 50cm) = 62cm. Correct? :s11:

Guess the shortest length of the LMX-E630 series is the necklace SN type then. Only 80cm from earpiece to straight-shape plug.

I know Cresyn LMX-E630 series are balance. I think EP630 is S$69.90 wheareas Cresyn is $49.90. I saw that the Crsyn earphones are selling in popular bookstore now.

mean Cresyn LMX-E630RL n Creative EP630 is y-cord?
Creative's EP630 is a y-cord, the Creyn LMX-E630 series is a neck-chain type (right earplug cable is longer than left) except that particular necklace type.

Yes, your cal are quite there. (I did not measue the length from plug to left earpiece, so dunno if its 120m or 132cm)

Shortest cord length is the 0.5m one. Cos when you wear it, both left and right earpieces are in your ear with the right cord BEHIND your neck. So you only got 0.5m to work with.

Is this your first time using a neck-chain design?

43cm right cord----->_____
right earpiece------>*head*<-------left earpiece.
0.5m cord!------------------->|

:s13: liked your schematics/drawing.
no this is not my 1st neck chain, just that i didn't really got to measuring it before.
(till you put the numbers in your reviews). But I never had a short cord before, so thought i figure out the length before deciding for a short or normal length.

yes, you are right that most of the right cord will be behind the neck. so only 50cm to work with. But if both cords are behind the neck ( like the necklace type), one will have less than 50cm to work with then. :)

Hey Aron! Welcome to the boards!

I bought the CK7 off SE just now while you were away. Paired with UE's Biflange tip.

Great buy man, and thanks for bringing them in! :high fives:

Yo afbug, didn't know you're a earphone reviewer and specialist here....!

Ha no la, not specialist. Anyone can do it if they want. Difficult part is not telling the diff between earphones but trying to put them into words. A bit siong! :o

^ The price was too beautiful to resist, and I guessed the Bi-flange works for my ears by balancing the sound of the CK7 the way I want it to be =)

Plus, other factors other than price like: Comfort and microphonics, 2 areas that the CK7 outperform the ER6i in as my ears tell me. I like the Biflange better than the Shure Grey Flex :)

No regrets now, 'upgraditis' is gone too! Now I can start saving money again *lol*

I am not happy and disappointed with the behaviour of some people. He/she copy and pasted (Without my knowledge and permission) part of my review in ilounge for his/her own advantage. It is quite obvious as mentioned by one of the posters. His/her profile even had his/her website link on it.

As such, i will be taking down one of the review. You should know which one just by reading the above thread. If this goes on, i'll take down all reviews.

Its quite a cheesy attempt at free advertising and can be considered spam. I should have known such things will happen. What did i gain? Bashings, insults, got my review copied and pasted, what more? Is this the price for sharing my knowledge? :o And some of you will know that I do not go around posting my reviews. It is only for this forum and no where else, i did not even post at sgheadphones. I am disappointed and fustrated.

Hi afbug1,

I love your reviews. You give indepth comparison between the budget in-ear earphones.

I agree with you that the one who did that was despicable. Maybe you would like to post your reviews on a website? I don't know much about copyright issues on forums posts.

Keep the good job up and kudos for your hard effort. Good day and keep enjoying your music.
