Cannot find the 3D Connect Distibutor. Besides the X800GTO, what other cards are sold here?

Thank you. I go my fair share of feedback and criticisms along the way, which helped to me update the information and keep in current.

Not planning to do the CPU and motherboard, because maintaining this thread is hard work already. Hope someone else can do the job.

Yes understood...i guess its part and parcel of foruming. I am sure a lot of people benefiting from your thread and effort. Its really commendable effort :).

However, my suggestion for cpu/motherboard, is more towards of niched up (more specific) to say amd/boards thread and probably intel/boards on another thread with the threadstarters are enthusiatic to their own platform suggestions.

Even with amd/boards, there are multiple competing platform with nvidia leading and crossfire on the rise and Uli with their value for money approach. Surely this is very interesting and evolving fast.

Similar case with intel/board platform.

Hope there is some takers out there :o

Added URL link for ATI graphics card BIOS (original). Useful for those who flashed and misplaced the original BIOS.

Looks like the NV silencer. Very good cooling solution, to aid in overclocking, or low noise operation.

Pls consider other factors like shipping all these, thats why a direct convert of US$ to S$ is not accurate at all. Its a bit mis-leading here.

Hi,just would like to ask,if I would like to buy Graphic cards which is of around Nvidia 7800GT (about $550 price range). What brand/model would be the best?.I was told that XFX is one of the best for this price range.I am contemplating on ASUS,Inno 3D,MSI,Leadtek etc.Oh,by the way,the purpose will be for gaming.I heard ATI graphic cards are not as good as Nvidia for gaming, any comments and suggestions are most welcomed, thank you ...

Totally agree. The prices in Singapore tend to be >20% higher than the US prices. Need to multiply by 20% to derive final Singapore prices, which is again rough estimate. The final price is dictated by the distributors.

Various factors come in, whether card comes pre-overclocked or with custom heatsink fan like Zalman instead of the default Nvidia heatsink fan, and warranty period. If I'm not wrong, all are almost the same clock and mem speed except XFX. So if you want a pre-overclocked card, get XFX. If not ASUS will do because of 3 year warranty. The rest are also okay, maybe some games inside the bundle will attract you to them?

ATI's X1800XL is like 7800GT equivalent. But ragnarok95 will start nagging about heatsink fan design. So ultimately the choice is still yours.
