Actually, it's best to bring it to the Rolex Centre to check. I just took my friend's watch to a pawnshop to check for 2nd hand value, then went to Rolex Centre to verify that it's all original before I bought it from him. This is the watch I bought from him, it's actually a boy's/midi model that's very similar to this -buaysaikum said:make sure you bling it to a qualified watch maker to check if the movement's functioning well as well as all the parts are original....

Can't you take the watch to Rolex Centre to verify first? Then, go to a pawnshop that does branded watch and ask for an estimate (they'd probably charge you for the service). I did both becoz I need to know that the watch is ALL original, and the price at which I can unload the watch (should I not want it anymore). Besides, knowing the pawn value price point of the watch help set the selling price of the watch.....at least, that's the logic for me.
BTW, can you reduce the size of your pic? Damn big and not friendly to those with slower net connection.
At the Rolex Centre, they charge $75 for verification.......I should know becoz I was just quoted that amount when I took my friend's watch for verification. If you should decide to service the watch after verification, then they would forego the verification charge. But be forewarned, service charge can be a bit high.....mine cost me $380.juchua said:Ya thinking of wearing the watch, but no point bring for verfication if they charge 200 t0 300 just for verfications.
