well....one reason could be......e.g.

A needs money....... A approaches uncle L to borrow money......uncle L says ok.....bring him to watch store.......ask him buy watch with credit card.......then uncle L pays A cash for the watch at way below market value......A gets his urgently needed cash and uncle L exports the watches........uncle L is clean n no need to worry about police....
