Anyone knows how's the weather like during early June? (around 8-11 Jun)

Will HK be experiencing any thunderstorms/typhoon warnings during this period?

Hello guys. I am planning to go Hong kong mid june, maybe around 13th onwards for 8D7N. Can advise on such a schedule? I would, as much as possible, like to view hongkong from the point of a local, ie go to local hang outs, and observe how daily and nightly hongkong bustle and hustle is like, rather than all the commercialise attractions...
You can find more infomation here

I'll be on a early flight to HongKong. After checked in into the hotel, its about 1+pm. after which, will procede to Wong Tai Sin temple.

Is there any shopping spot or attraction nearby the temple? or maybe somewhere near to cover before going back to mongkok area?

If not i'll head back to mongkok area to start a little warmup. =:p

There is a shopping center opposite. Nothing much there. Better to take the train back to Mongkok/TST

To show your photos

not really...
i've got 3000+ photos for my hk trip last year

say only 10% are 'useful' shots, tt would already be 300 photos...
uploading to image shack and 'managing' the links myself will kill me...
maybe try yahoo photos or something like that..then i'll just post a link to yahoo photos :D
Try Yahoo Flickr photo database. I put mine up here too.

I am looking for design (web related/ print media etc ) and photography books (not 'xie zhen ji').
U don't go Hong Kong to look for English books. U should instead go Sydney instead or New York or London.

Hi, are the internet cafes in Hk strict about uploading pics to websites from their computers? i'm not extremely IT savvy here, hence I have a troubling situation. If i bring my camera and a 258 and 512 mb storagecard (2 in all) will it be enough? assuming I am not a shutterbug, just an average phototaker taking average amounts for 1 week. My instincts tell me it probably will not suffice, hence comes the next issue of how to load it onto computers in HK internet cafes. someone told me or I had read in this forum (cant rem) that one cannot plug and play via usb on HK computers. strict rules apply. Then how??

Buy another card. A 1GB card cost around $20 only. Uploading to website can take quite a while.
