Juz came back from Hong Kong 2 weeks ago, juz a short debrief of my tour to share with fellow forumers. Feel obligated to do it since I have pick up many information from here.
- Arrived at Macau Intl Airport @1500hr by TigerAirway.
- Take a cab to the ferry terminal, cab fare is MOP$55
- Book the next ferry to HK, tix price is HK$140 per pax.
- The journey was quite bumpy coz of the choppy water. Entire journey is 70 minute. Saw a boy vomit on the ferry due to sea-sickness.
- Arrive at 中港码头, took bus #3C to Mongkok and alighted infront of Sincere House
- Check into DragonHostel (Room price is HK$260 per nite for a double ensuite)
- Room is awfully small but very clean.
- Spend the next two days at HK.
- Done most of my shopping at HK Industrial Centre & 花園街
- Day 4, check out of hotel and depart for ZhuHai
- Take a ferry from 中港码头 to Zhuhai, tix price is HK$170 per pax.
- The journey is around 70 min.
- Arrive at Zhuhai, 九洲港
- Take the free shuttle bus to GongBei, check-in hotel
- Meet up with an old classmate at a seafood restaurant.
- The seafood varieties in Zhuhai is amazing, and is at least 40-50% cheaper than SG.
- The roast chicken and goose are also very cheap here, I love the roast chicken. The meat is so tender and juicy, nothing compared to the one you have in SG.
- Clothing are dirt cheap here, but it's not as trendy as the clothing in HK and SG.
- Day 6, cross the border custom in GongBei to Macau. From GongBei to the custom, it is only a 5-minute drive on cab.
- Not much fun in Macau, the portugese food and egg tarts is a MUST here though.
- Forget about casino if it's not your cup of tea. There are free shuttle bus services from custom to the casino. Only those above 18yr old are allowed to take the shuttle bus service.
