Hey guys! When use safety rear light, have some road entiquette. Do not use the very flashy mode or very distracting beam light. Yr safety shall not be at the expense of other motorist vision/safety.

Imagine u are a driver and encounter this kind of distracting flashy beam and affect yr driving at nite. How will u feel?

thanks, tip noted !!

i think he meant dont angle the lights at drivers' height, maybe slightly downwards to the lane

Oh I see. Sure, why not. Yesterday, I e-mailed to jet beam dot on their bicycle light. No reply from them yet. In fact, I've not decided what to buy yet. But thanks for your tip.

XT drivetrain mixed with XTR shifters + cables and XTR chain. ;)

XTR chain?? does it wear off easier than the XT one?

so everything XT except XTR shifters and cables / chain is the best combi...

thanks for the advice! :D

Thomson is well known for having (probably) the highest resale value (provided no scratches etc) and extremely good strength to weight ratio. It may not be the lightest of the light, but its certainly among the strongest.

thanks for the advice!

so does thomson seatpost and handlebar set come in white? :D

Jet Beam dot com has just replied to me. They say JetBeam CLE w/ Red Cree is no longer in production. They suggest I get JET III ST light and contact a local distributor about it.

Sorry, is this the Jet III ST light they recommend? More suitable for front light rather than rear end.

Magura? 660 for the Marta SL. Not sure about the Louise (lower end). I think shimano and Hayes are the way to go for sub 500 budget..

Oh. Cool I think I better get the Shimanos. Maguras are way over my budget.
Can try formula brakes.

I got mine 2nd Oro Puro for $400 but looks new. I give it 9/10. But performance is super good. Formula brakes FTW.

Cool. Thanks guys for the recomendations. I think I'll go for the XT brakes for now. Maybe next time when I strike 4D will get a Formula brake set.
