Hey, like mentioned, about 80+ budget. actually I'm willing to hit $100.

I was at Stereo@PS just now, looking for headphones though :x
and he offered me several,

Sennheiser HD 202/ HD 228/ PX 100

AKG 420

I'm looking for clarity more than base actually. got any recommendations ?
thanks !

I listen mostly to kpop music .. i am looking for a earphone which is ard $60-$80 .
I want a earphone which clarity is as good as the bass and the comfort is good , meaning i want a all-round earphone , not focusing on more bass or comfort . I wouldt mind a LITTLE bit more clarity . any earphone to suggest ?

Hey guys,

Anybody know of anything similar to the Meelec M11+?
I love it for 3 reasons:

1)The silver cans and clear cable combo is to die for.
2)The cans themselves are small.
3)For a Bass-head like myself.

Problem is, they seem to be outta stock right now.
I won't mind paying a little more for a higher quality IEM, but it must look good, and sound great.

Thanx!;)

I listen to mostly blues, rock and metal songs.. Was using a EP630 for a couple of years till it broke. Now I am in a dilemma, not being able to choose one or the other

for a budget of <$65, I can get
PL30
Brainwavz M1 or M2
ECCI PR300.

and for a budget of <$90 i can get
PL50
ECCI PR401

Any kind users out there able to chip in on their experience? Is the $30+ price difference justified for a PL50?
Will try to go to stereo and test tmr, but I dont want to fall into any ''sales talk'' from there.
thanks.

based on the kind of songs you listern to I think that PR401 or PR300 is suitable for you. Reason being that among all ur choices with the exception of these 2, the emphasis is either on the treble or bass side. PR401 and PR300 has a more V-shape sound signature which means that that they have decent bass and treble. If you can afford it, do get the PR401? It seems to be getting quite good reviews from head-fi pros.

I tried the PR300, but i felt the treble was too bright and thus was not easy on the ear.. I did not try the PR401 though. The PL50 was rather good imo.

I was rushing for time so didnt get to test the PR401.. How is it compared to the PL50? I'm still undecided if the PL50's bass is enough for rock and metal songs..

I think PR401 got a better bass? but i think treble lose to PL-50. Pr401 got a better soundstage as well...

CX 400 II maybe by luck you still can get locally, but CX 500 have to order from Amazon.

including shipping, CX 500 should cost you ard SG $70.
