The temple is called Chin Swee Temple. There got free shuttle bus departing from Highlands Hotel on a hourly basis. 1st bus 10 am, 15 mins to go down. Go up to 13 flr nice place with lots of info and figures for photo and praying.
Try the vegetarian lunch, cheap and good.It is just at the bus pick up and alighting point.

Go to FWH for shopping. shops open till 11 pm. For good local food go to Old Town coffee shop opposite Theme Park Hotel and other theme park. Good laksa and cofee.

The other thing hit the casino lol. FWH go to StarWorld. Other link to Monte Carlo,
Gentings and Resort Hotel.

Must try the nightly 9 pm show. Cheap and good entertainment with magic and acrobatic display. only 68RM.

dont go during holidays.... the queue and crowd overhelming. Go Mondays to Wednesday best time.

Cheers.

You can take the yellow bus to KL Titiwangsa station from First World Hotel bus terminal. Ticket price is RM6.60 and no discount irrespective of the number of pax. No refund whatsoever, even if you miss the bus - you just have to buy another ticket.

Hey,

Anyone haf any idea how to go back to Genting Skyway Station from Gohtong Jaya? Is it from the same bus stop?

4)Strawberry Farm & Gohtong Jaya
Free Genting shuttle.

Go to Highland Hotel, take the cable car down to the Lower Genting Skyway Station. Before reaching the station, left side of the station is a horse ranch, alight the cable car and go to the left side of the building at the horse ranch direction, at the lobby before exiting the building, there is 2 ways going out of the building, take the inside exit, I saw group of tourist boarding/alighting. Wait for free shuttle at the corner where coach exiting, should be a schedule poster for the free Genting shuttle (Genting-Gohtong Jaya-Awana) on the left side of the wall and a row of plastic seat.

Take the free shuttle, alight at Gohtong Jaya bus-stop (1st bus-stop, 3-5min) located near the roundabout before the police check point when you coming from Genting, when u at the bus-stop, you will face a row of shop houses, walk toward the condomium like building behind the shop houses, the strawberry farm is opp of the condomium (dunno wat sporthall) separate by a road.

Walk.

Cable car like the above, exit the left side the building, walk along the road toward Gohtong Jaya (left abt 50-70m right turn, 5m left turn and straight all the way, turn right before Gohtong Jaya bus-stop toward the strawberry farm.

Taxi. Was quote rm10 (dunno per person or wat) never take.

Ask around the ppl working there if not sure.

Nice experience for 1st timer @ strawberryfarm, but a bit ex for self pick strawberry rm80/kg

New KL bus terminal

Maybe this already posted, but no harm again.

FYI,

Those taking bus/coaches from JB Larkin to KL have to take note,

- New bus terminal for bus from north relocated to TBS - terminal bersepadu selatan, no longer at bukit jalil

**, 2 days ago take bus to KL, blur blur wake up, see very different place. cold sweat, thought go sala place liao. :s13:

From TBS , take KTM to KL sentral, then take genting coach over there.

Expert in Genting out there need your advise.

Will be gentingnext weekend.
Need advice if drive.....

A) PArk at the car park at Cable car lower station (i.e the station whereby we board cable car goes up to Genting) how much per day charges ?
OR
B) Should i drive all the way up to the Hotel area in Genting, hou much is the rate for park in hotel.

FYI I will stay in First World Hotel.

2nd concren, how's the security aspect of parking in hotel and the car park at lower cable car station.

Thanks in advance

Drive all the way up to genting.

1) safer for your car.
2) easier to get to your car
3) cable car so darn high, I heart almost bungee-ed out.

but!

the screw to pump air into your tyres might get stolen. remove them before leaving your car.
