My Persistence arrived and i'm really pleased with it. Flicking smooth after i got the hang of it, sexy blade shape, a grip that's not too sticky or slippery. Minor gripes would be the clip in a tip down position (have to buy damn allen keys and also worry about the screws stripping), a sloppy finish on the handle groove, not shaving sharp out of the box, blade surface not sanded down properly. Really major gripe is the jimping on the liner lock. It gets painfully uncomfortable to operate after a few repetitions, nutnfancy mentioned it on his vid and i didn't think much of it, until now. Am i complaining about the knife? No! I love it but the deficiencies are as it is, just pointing them out. Delica will be my next acquisition, slimmer blade shape( and so thinner overall) and lighter, just sucks they don't have it in black else i would have grabbed one already.

Yeah I have the same issue on the grind on the Tenacious, Persistence and Ambitious - not completely even - not like the American made knives. The jimping on the liners are actually OK. The ones on my CRKT's and SRM's hurt more. The ergonomics on the Spydercos actually make up for it.

I've found the Persistence a little bit large for the tasks I perform, so I recently acquired the Ambitious. 2 days after it arrives, Spyderco announces the comeback of the Chicago. 2 inch blade as opposed to the Ambiotious' 2.25". Grrrrr.
