Bought 8 T-shirts from them. Love their premium cotton shirts.
Narita Airport Uniqlo has zero discount. Down town gave 30% for some when I was there. Ueno, Ikebukuro and Shibuya outlets.

should be fine
for osaka
as it wont snow i guessing
normal shoe lor

dec might be colder if u wnan get this unqilo u might want to do layering
i never got this before this uniqlo ultralight
as i got myself a the northface down
700++ filling
according to the sales at northface he say mine can endure subzero10
which is qhite good
as i went hokkiado
with snow and ice
i only worn
just my normal long sleeves
without any long john
and just my nortface down
plus glove and scarf
and my bottom i wear longjohn pants and normal jeans
and aslo goretex waterproof shoes highcut so it protect me fron the bilting winds in hokkiado

but for osaka shouldnt be so bad as mine case

i am going back to hokkiado again soon heehhe

It depends on where you go in Hokkaido, I had experience strong wind at -14 degrees celcius in Hokkaido. The weather is killing me :)

osaka DO snow. i thought it won't snow and i packed without having any down jacket and to my horror, it snowed the entire day and my poor hubby only survived with thick sweater and scarf and jeans :(

i am probably gonna do.

1st layer: LJs
2nd layer: long sleeve/tee/sweater
3rd layer: a down jacket (something waterproof)

any recommendations for socks? :D

socks wise. wollen material will do. i guess the thickness of the sole matters also. the temperature is not as extreme as the northern part where i had to don 2 pairs to keep my feet snuggly warm

My northface serve me well in frezzing subzero 10
With what I mentioned above
due to the down filling is more I bet cd uniqlo lor
and lightweight too
so itonk pay more isworth in long run if we go more often too

Recommnd. ?
Uniqlo budget lor
northface if u got more budget

But if u can endure till jp u can go there buyore choice too but pay more too

as alotof jp love northface too even northface got it's own jp models

I survive Sapporo with minus 10 with just

top
long sleeves normal shirt I wear in sg
and northface down only
with polartec glove and cashmere scarf

bottom
wool longjohn
levis jeans
timberland highcut goretex shoe
with wool socks thicker one lor

so when I went Tokyo I worn only my northface this time
seve me damm well with lightweight
so I can walk n carry more too

mine is nuptses model from northface 700 down filling I recall

one more question,
for the most outer layer, ie the down jacket, do you get fitting size or 1 size bigger?

depend on u
for me i normally wear S for my long sleevs
but when i try the northface down
i still get S
due to it compassable
so even i wear 1 more layer
like a vest
it still workable too
so depend on the down cutting and design

for the uniqlo unltra light its more lesser spacing to fit in extra cloths lor
as it cutting is more body fitting

u need to go to try tyour self to get a feel

just google
u can aga aga see the design on line

Actually if u got northface u no need longjohn hahaa I tank hokkiado subzero 10
Without longjohn
For my top
But bottom I use wool longjohn and jeans

My nuptuse is already overpowered hahaa
