helloSecure@sg is the first competition in South East Asia to promote and demonstrate the importance of secure coding and security assurance practices in software development.

Answer: No. Payment is not required

What is the format of the competition?
Answer: The competition will take place over 3 days. The first 2 days involve coding a web application using the .Net framework. On the third day the teams will present their applications to the judges. Scoring will be based on functionality and security of their code.

The top 5 teams will advance to a quiz round on the afternoon of the third day, in which they will be tested on various aspects of code security.

What are the prizes?
Answer: Prizes up to $10,000 will be awarded to the top 3 teams. All participants will be given a certificate of participation and a goodie bag.

Who can take part in the competition?
Answer: This competition is opened to all full time and part time students who are currently studying in secondary schools, Universities and Institutes of Higher learning.

Answer: No.

Following the well-received All 'Bout Security Seminar 2009, we would like to invite you to join us for this year’s event: All 'Bout Security & Connectivity Seminar 2010.

The seminar provides a knowledge-sharing platform for IT Security & Networking Professionals and students.
