er if I buying something from someone overseas, he give me the paypal email, and I use the manhattan card, it wouldn't be counted to what I spend right?

when they credit u the $200, n when u pay ur next bill, does it auto used up that $200?

so let say, first quarter, i got $200, then to get the $200 for the second quarter, i need to charge another 4k, does that 4k use up that $200 from the first quarter?

Your quarterly rebate will be used to offset the bill for the month thereafter (when there is spending transactions). Technically, it is not possible to have rebate of $400 in your card considered that it is capped at $200 per quarter. :s22:

Yes.

Or for my case, I chalked up the charges just before the end of the quarter to get the $200 rebate. And when the bill comes, I can actually pay minus $200 off the statement due amount coz the $200 was already credited into the account.

even ur card is at $0 outstanding, u still can pay a lump sum into the card to increase the credit limit.
in short, ur card credit limit can also be above what the bank give u.

the $200 only act as an prepayment of $200 in the CC and u still need to clock ur regular $4000 for the max of $200 rebate.

so does that mean if i will to buy something that is 4k, when paying for the credit card bill, i only pay for 3.8k since there is already 200 credit inside from the previous quarter?

Note that there will be a time lag in the crediting. For example, my billing quarter ends in March, but my $200 would only be credited in my May statement.

So if I spend in my Apr billing cycle, I would still need to pay the full amount in my Apr statement.

can anyone confirm if the excess of 200 capped per quarter will be rolled over to next quarter?

eg, if u spend 5000 u will be entitled to 250 (rightfully), do they capped it at 200 and that's it or do they roll over the 50 to the next quarter?

ic..thanks for the explanation :) i will always make the 4k bill at the last month of the quarter, so if there is any lag, should not be a problem to me :) if they delay by 2 months like what u say.
