Puma Alligator:

nice build but i am very disappointed with some dents and chips found on the handle. I am going to make a complaint to Puma Germany.. not sure can exchange it.

Puma Naris:

this also good build but details are disappointing... some chips and gluey substance found on the wooden scales which cant be removed. I wonder if there is a quality drop by the Germans.

I carry my Spyderco Endura almost everyday and never had any problems. Though I haven't been in the situation you described before. But seeing Singaporeans, I think if you take it out to scare off the attackers, the bystanders may think that you are the attacker.

sold my bm sibert , deployment very cumbersomea n not smooth

just noticed that the ZT hinderer is one side black one side silver?
do you choose the colors?
titanium scales i suppose?
think this must be around SG $400?

i saw the quick action flip in you-tube... isnt this type of fast action banned in SG? sort of botherlines between Automatics and Manuals.
i thought these kind of "spring assisted opening knives" are not allowed (or there is no spring, only ball bearings?)... as more and more designs come out, it becomes more confusing.

Any experienced guy care to compile this list of prohibited knives types to bring into Singapore:

I start here..please correct if wrong:
from Changi Airport only listed 2 knives items:
http://www.changiairport.com/passenger-guide/arrival/customs/prohibited-and-controlled-items

Flick Knife (wiki define as switchblades)
Butterfly knife

Below items require Arms and Explosives Licence from SPF website:
Swords which includes Kirpan, Kukri and Kris with blade of more than 12 inches
Bayonets
Spears
Daggers
Spearheads

Questionables:
OTF (out the Front) Automatics
Automatics
Knives with blades XXX inch?
the Rambo IV Machete (11+inch)

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what knife+plier multi tool I can use that doesn't rust?

I'd like to use it for fishing. My friend bought a leatherman freestyle, took it out for 1 fishing trip, it rusted even before he got back home after the trip.

Sea water is highly corrosive I guess.
