Hi Guys, this is my short review for my gaming notebook Aftershock X15. Feel free to give critiques.
Introduction
Got my Aftershock X15 for more than a week now, I ordered on 3rd July and collected it on 8th July. Build the specs with the shop owner and tested games which i intend to play. (Bf3, WoW, LoL) He recommended me alot of stuffs, felt that he is quite professional in this field. Got to know this shopowner from a World of Warcraft friend.
Always felt that notebooks are not really meant for playing high end graphics games, heat & fan noise is always an issue. But when i look at the products in his shop, it really changed my view. Even the 11" at his shop can play BF3 with no heat issue!
Since buying a notebook is not cheap. I believe having more choices to choose is better. I really recommend gamers to visit this shop to have a look. Importantly they allowed customization.
Pros:
Allow customization on the specs and shop owner actually allowed me to play test the games before purchasing the notebook. Testing the heat and noise to ensure there are no issues before i bring my notebook home.
Cons:
The battery life is lasted 4hrs max while using it for net surfing. It will die faster if it use to play game.
The Adaptor is quite big (150mm X 80mm X 40mm)
I felt the exterior design is plain, something can be done to make it looks better.
Damage: SGD 3102
