Amazing drive but for PC, not MAC

I got the drive 2 days ago. Its great but am now selling it as I could not reformat in Mac. So be careful to test if you need Mac HFS. Works as reviewed on my PCs ie super fast for everything.

Review by PCmag:

“The SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 is the fastest high-capacity drive we've seen to date, and it comes with a stiletto- inspired design and a reasonable price.”

I don't understand why you gave #1 to sandisk.

I think the speed wise lexar should be ranked better even if the price is expensive

I'm using the 64GB on my MBA, works fine on the USB2 port with HFS+J. I run my Windows VM entirely on it. What's the issue you're facing?

If you guys believe CrystalDiskMark, the 4K write is unbelievable on this guy. The 64GB version manages 10MB/s writes, out-performed everything else on the market by at least 10 times. I have not seen any flash drive which manages >1MB/s. This is an important criteria because I run VMs off it. I got it for $89 at BxxtBxxgxxxx.

For those still thinking, don't think so much. We have a winner.
