is the price good? i thought courts aircon pricing is not really that competitive in the market...
$3199... all in.. including removal of old system installation, pipes, etc.. and also 5 year warranty for aircon and 3 year installation warranty... the bracket used back old system one.. added a flat fee of $60 for extra warranty for accidental damage and surge.. also received $150 choice vouchers from courts which i collected at tampines megamall. plus, use standard chartered manhattan card, got additional 5% cash back.. hehe

also got the courts aircon servicing package.. $550 for 2 years (8 times) which i think is a very good deal.

so total damage after all discounts and vouchers = $3,468.55 all in, with 8 times servicing.

Panasonic cover not that flimsy...

Sys 1 inverter running amp maybe ard 3-5.
Sys 2 running amp ard 5-8.
That will depends on room temp, remote set temp, and other factors.
If space/location is not an issue, u may get 2 x sys 1.
Installation cost wise, after factoring additional brackets/power points, should be around the same.

R410a and R22 which is better?

if i not wrong, R410a is the best follow by R407c ??

the old one refer to R22 right ??

please note R410a refrigerant is only about 4% better than R22 in cool weather (28 -30 Degree C). If you on your air con during the afternoon (35 degree and above) R22 is better energy efficient because it has a higher critical temperature than R410a. R407c is a replacement for R22 if it is phase out but is about 2% lower in efficiency.

Not really. In sys 3 (DC Inverter type) the compressor is big enough to run a room only at 30% of it power. This means you can actually save on your electrical bills compare to sys 1. If you purchase a good model air con it should last but be very careful with the agent who is doing the installation. Good installation practice (vacuum system, proper draining, no refrigerant leak, no moisture as moisture in your system will really deteriorate your system rapidly) your sys 3 should work very well for the next few years.
