to clarify, the wireless functions of the UE 9000 will work on Android phones, just that the wired functions will NOT "work properly" with Android.

Did I get that right??

Yes that's right mic should be fine on wired mode but not the volume control

How does the SOL Republic Amps HD and TDK IE800 fare against these two ?
Amps HD suit better for dance/trance music =)

IE800
- Tighter bass than SE215 and clear sound
- Wider soundstage than SE215 and BA200
- Easy wearing and comfortable
- Good for most genres of music

The TDK EB950 is pretty heavy on the bass and the UE400 is quite well balanced but less musical and lack soundstage. =)

Hi all,

- Your rig : SGS2
- What type of usage : music
- File format used in your source : MP3
- Genre of music you listen to : Mostly Pop and some Jazz
- Headphone / earphone type : IEM
- Other requirements : None
- Budget : Max $130

I've been reading "Multi IEM review - 214 IEMs reviewed (ljokerl @ Head-Fi)" and so far the Fischer audio sliver bullet, consonance and eternal, as well as the etymotic research MC5 has caught my eye. Anyone have opinions on these? Joker mentioned that the sliver bullet's cable is poorly built but the one on stereo.com.sg has a V.2 listed, is this a better build?

In addition, the three fisher audio earphones I mentioned, the prices are pretty close to each other, so whats the difference?

Can try the JVC FXC51 =)

Also Sennheiser CX300ii

I'm currently using a BF tf10 and am looking for a upgrade. Which earphone shuld I get?
How about the UE900? Mids way better and also wider soundstage - very natural overall reproduction of sound.

Would you recommend the tdk ie800 over the tdk eb950 ?

Depends on your taste in the end but I would say the IE800 =)

One more thing, how good is the noise isolation of the tdk ie800 ?
Pretty good on stock tips - can choose to use the provided comply foam as well =)

recommendations for hd650 alternative? it's price has been rising and I can't justify them now. looking at the hifiman he-400, but still looking for suggestions.looking for versatility, and particularly fond of buble. planning to pair them with the schiit stack.
