Hi guys need a recommendation for headphones and headphone amp here.

I love soundstage in particular alongside with clarity. Not a basshead but not to the point of wanting an etys.

I recently auditioned the Shure SE 535 found it to quite be a liking along with the RSA Predator.

My previous personal audio device is an ipod classic -> GoVibe Martini -> TF10s.

Hoping not to get another govibe as i find their qc really ****.

What about the ALO International?

Can try the Sennheiser CX300ii and Fischer Audio Consonance but no flat cable.

Flat cable wise can try the UE 400 =)

FA consonance - just bought my second pair, 1st pair spoilt after 14 months cos i didnt take googd care of them.

The new FA consonance is now called FA consonance pro, the silicone seal is not as good as the old one which has a better seal & quality which give better bass..

can just loop the music you listen to let it run for say 50-100hrs. or can download pink noise sound file and loop it. normal listening volume can liao. ie80 commonly said to sound best after say about 200hrs. ymmv. I didn't really notice anything but probably I also wasn't paying attention la. just enjoy the music :)

If you have a bit more cash i would recommend Audio Technica Headphones Pro Mk2. It has excellent bass and sounds great.
