2000 SGD per pax including accommodation for 8 days Tokyo is it okay?

package tour? wat airline, wat hotel? include tax already?

if u do free and easy, it can cost a lot less than that.
for package tour, it really depends wat is included. best to compare the price with a few agencies. and also note that natas fair is coming soon, so will probably have better offers then

Not package tour, free and easy. ANA but the air ticket is not included in the 2000SGD, just traveling and food and hotels. Hotel haven't book yet, but max is 300 per night, sharing with one more pax so each pax roughly 150.

icic... yup, 2000SGD is more than enuf for 8 days in tokyo. in fact it is probably considered quite luxurious.

hotel.com and booking.com are 2 of the most reliable online hotel wholeseller.

I booked all my 6 hotels through these 2 for my recent trip to Hokkaido. No problem at all. No need to confirm with respective hotels before setting off. Just go and your rooms will be ready

yes, booking.com is reliable.
however, do compare the rates the hotel's own website coz hotel's website price may be cheaper. i usually use booking.com only if the hotel doesnt have their own website

how many days u planning to visit each places?
u may want to stay a few days in kyoto and experience the ryokan, and base the rest of ur trip in osaka. coz u can probably find cheaper accommodations in osaka, and there are more shops and eateries open at night

Aiya now you tell me... :( I was kinda heartpain why I paid SG$255/nite for a room at Mombetsu Prince hotel via hotel.com... although half board is included.

But Hotel.com was great for I was able to get a really large premium room at the 19th floor of Sapporo tokyu Excel hotel at SG$80/night only! :s13::s13:

hotel.com needs you to pay with your credit card online upon booking confirmation.

Booking.com needs your credit card details to secure the booking. You will pay directly to the hotel with the same credit card when you check out at the amount shown on your confirmation email.

for booking.com, it depends on the hotel also. most just require ur credit card details for confirmation, some require payment upfront

really depends lah... sometimes these websites got super good deals also.
for me, usually i stay in cheap business hotels, so such websites dun make a difference. and most of the time i book toyoko-inn, which i have membership, so didnt bother to look at booking.com or hotel.com

hotels I think mostly accept card only

some hostels on the other hand accept only cash on arrival

so far those that i booked from booking.com can pay by cash, or a different credit card from the one u made booking on. there are also some that only accept cash, and these are indicated on the website.
