Tried out gd today for a few hours. Hold is really impressive... Only had to use a bit to tame my whole head granted my hair is freshly cut and isn't very long. Belittles sponge wax in terms of hold definitely. I don't like having to use multiple products, at most one wax/clay and spray after... Gd looks pretty promising so far in terms of being that one fuss free product I can rely one. Hopefully it performs when I get to test the holding strength after a full day. I do however prefer the natural creamy smell of sponge wax. Also gd seems a bit tougher to wash off as compared to sponge wax.

Take note this is coming from someone who has only tried Gatsby wax and sponge wax!

Hello guys.. I have rather stubborn thick and straight hair. Have been keeping them short like 5cm mostly..? What style and products are more suitable? Thanks!

The first pres-styling product you would need is the Sea Salt Spray! :s13:

I have stubborn straight hair which very hard to style. With this spray, i must say it's much much easier. :)

Even it's long also can't lay flat?

Wah.. I wan the opposite way.

Anyway.. Do I apply those hair cream ( those like serum) after Sss or before sss? Will it add some weight and defeat the purpose?

I would look like **** if I grew it long. My sides is grow straight out as in protruding out kind. So every 3 weeks must cut liao. Top I ever grew quite long. Friends all say I look like Guile in Street Figher. :s13:

Ehh iirc, serum is always the 1st product on top of anything but usually people apply serum after washing their hair one leh. Never heard of anyone mixing it with wax and etc.

When I was much younger, I think I have the similar condition. My friend call me "bao za tou" cos it really point out even from the side.

Until I met one hair dresser who ask me to leave it longer and he will cut for me which it will not protrude out. Surprisingly now my sides are more flat. Don't know why.

Oh, I mean after I washed my hair then can I apply serum then start my pre-styling?

my sides also like that. and I can't stand leaving it more than 4 weeks!

Best way to save money should be leave it longer and hopefully it will flatten when its heavier. but donno need how long.. hate that untidy sight. :s22:

Use strong wax like GD will help?
