Get your facts right.

http://uat.8rewardsroad.com.sg/netsflashpay/where_to_get.php
how come some banks oso carry the nets flashpay?
Linked to bank accounts lei.

Debit Cards - UOB Direct Visa Card | UOB Singapore

One card with multi accounts in it.
1)ATM deduct directly from bank
2)Nets flashpay has to be activated by topping up. Can be thru auto-giro with your bank account.

Link to bank account is not equal to giro. Link to bank account mean you can use it to withdraw money freely as if its an atm card, just like how credit cards can be linked to bank account so you can withdraw from the bank account instead of thru the credit account as cash advance, get your facts right.

You totally don't get it. :s8:

Of course you must apply ez-reload to deduct from POSB everyday card to get the 2% rebate, that's why they give you rebate for. If you reload from UOB One then you don't get the 2% from POSB, simple?

The 2% is given when there is a ezlink reload transaction posted onto the credit card so you can use normal ezlink card and apply to do ez-reload with POSB everyday card to get 2%.

Not a UOB PPV user. Please correct me if calculation wrong.

$100 ezlink online reload via UOB PPV = 200uni$

Based on what I see from UOB rewards portal
https://uniservices.uobgroup.com/NASApp/RUS/jsp/instant_rewards_nonmember.jsp

2000uni$ = $50cash rebate
This means 200uni$ = $5cash rebate.

This is only 5%, compared to HSBC 7%.
Is it a waste to do it your way?

1. That rewards is only applicable for UOB Visa Signature not PPV.

2. Miles pawn everything if used for long distance biz class redemption. For example a biz ticket to USA give each mile around 5c so 4miles/$ is worth 20c aka 20%. So don't compare miles with cash rebates, there is simply no conclusion you can draw.

hi,can i check with you your ezlink card is the generic public type or credit card with ezlink function?

juz checked my cc,transaction posted already online. Went to axs and ocbc atm, ezlink still show old value and both machines indicated no update needed...

@lifeishard: Have u claimed back the "missing" $20?
U approached the bank or ezlink or AXS/OCBC?

P.S:
I also encountered this problem w credit card w ezlink function. Trying to update after a top done, a tap "failed" at the AXS- then checked ezlink top n tap website showed my card was "ready" to be topped again!

I reload ALL my EZ-link cards online using UOB PPV. Would be a waste to do it any other way. :)

I guess if you want the miles ,UOB is the way .

For cash rebates, wouldn't the Frank be better ?
6% is yummy :s22:

Missing EZlink transactions from Activate

Does anybody monitor EZlink transactions thru Activate web site and/or mobile app?

Seem there was a glit in their database and all transactions in 22-24 Oct range are gone. While the purse correctly displays remaining funds, transactions for those days are missing.
