Thanks for the replies guys! I guess I'll try both & see which one suits me better. Will start with Max though since I'm not looking for a Korean hairstyle. Btw, a haircut by max is $38? I thought I saw that it was $45 on their website.

I just went last week, still $38. unless he give me the old price since I am old customer. last time someone PM me that his rate went up to $45, I asked him to give Max a call or something. $45 then you see if it is worth it if not can try Bao Liang. if he charge me $45 then I might start to source for another salon/stylist. :(

call them and ask? most likely student cut would be those poly/JC/sec sch type

don't think there is a student price for haarattic

Friend, sometime must see your hair texture one and skill also and of course the type of product u use. The stylist might be able to cut and style for you but go back home you may not achieve the desired result you want =)

no hard and fast rule saying ABC salon is korean so they don't know how to cut XYZ hairstyle.

ang mor hair and black asian hair very different... their blond hair very easy to texturise(sp) can see very easily. asians need to dye hair. you also must have the face shape (forehead/jawline), looks to pull it off. unless you are beckham, any hairstyle also handsome, botak also handsome. go consult your stylist, see if the hairstyle suits you or not.

$42 for la coco (student price) & $45 for max.. Tough choice. Guess I gotta try both. Have you tried bao Liang anyway? Is he good?
