Maybe he haven't try all the Canon models... 6D and 5dmk3 iso should be okay with noise when set to high iso...

already said quite a few times my considerations for not going fullframe riaos

i will be using it at distance so apsc extra "reach" is nice
if use ff have to crop heavily
and also not forgetting the price
a 5dm3 can buy a good apsc body + lens and still have money left over

i already narrow down my options to 70d or k3
canon has better lens selection but pentax has better bodies
and most probably i will be getting the sigma lens instead of the L series lens due to cost factor also which means lens wise will be equal playing field
as such im leaning towards pentax system

Thanks for your advice.
What about a zoom lens...about upto 200focal length. what will your recommend?

here standard reply when asking for telephoto zoom lens = 70-200f2.8 IS II / 70-200f2.8 VR2 :s13:

No stated budget so we assume he can afford it what, if you can afford the best, get the best.

Anyway since you want the reach, 1d4?

Hab 1.3x crop iirc.

If not considering your points, just get a Pentax Liao.......

Oh... I see... 70D not bad... Got touchscreen. I never use Pentax before... So can't comment much...

Most important research more information on both brands...
