Actually the walkman is a better dap than iPod touch because of better internal amp, better digital enhancers and native support of alternative formats for music file like flac. But the lag happens very rarely , so it's not a huge problem or anything

ya lor that why all my daP is on sony
since the tape walkman era to mini disc and to first sony mp3
and to my existing A series flaghhip from sony
so now plan to upgrade to f series

but zx1 too ovepriced hahah
so opt for F series

btw check with u your F sereis can display korean lang music?
checking on behalf on my friend

Hi bros, just want to seek advise whether is it advisable if i plan my trip in such as way that when i arrive in narita airport around 740am, i proceed straight to osaka using bullet train, instead of travel to osaka during the middle of my tokyo trip? so that i dun need to waste time doing packing and unpacking not wasting unecessary time travelling? Please kindly advise. thanks :)

Thanks alot bro. Sorry another noob question. If I buy the tokyo metro 1 day pass, can I use the pass to also travel on JR railway? Or I can only travel only on tokyo metro line?

Not possible. Metro tickets for Metro. JR for JR.You should plan your sightseeing all within the metro network. If you keep going in and out between metro and JR then SUICA is better suited for the convenience.

Or if you sightseeing is mostly reachable via JR, then get the Tokunai Pass for 730yen
http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/pdf/pamph_ticket.pdf

But you need to use Hyperdia to help you to calculate of the day pass is even necessary a money saving option or not. Just do you maths.

Any Bro/Sis can help me plan my Osaka trip?
Travelling with 2 adult + 2 kids
Thanks in advance.

Which type of railpass shall I buy?
Suica card or the TWO days Hankyu Unlimted Railpass @ Adt JPY1200 / Chd JPY700?
I only intend to travel within Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto

Day 1
Arrive KIX 0900hrs.
Collect Bmobile sim-card from KIX Airport Post Office
Take Limousine Bus to Hotel @ Namba area
Visit Osaka Aquarium
Osaka Castle Park
Floating Garden Observatory Umeda Sky Building

Day 2
Travel to Kobe
Visit Nankinmachi Chinatown
Arima Onsen (Any recommendation for onsen? )
Mount Rokko

Day 3
Travel to Kyoto
Which are the places shall I visit that are near to each other?
Kiyomizudara, Kinkakuji, Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama, Nishiki Market

Day 4
Where else to go to?

Day 5
My flight at 2330hrs

Nice & compact itinerary. Looks like the Hankyu Tourist pass suit you fine.
Hankyu Tourist Pass | Golden Route 360°

Buy an ICOCA for the convenience of trains transfer.

Hi all,

I will be travelling to tokyo on the 03/02 reaching there 04/02 morning. Staying there till 07/02.

I need data access during the whole trip. Do you guys think I should order a sim or just subscribe to single data roam package?

Check out the b-mobile sim card for rent thread by dimitri_can. Since you will be there for 4-5 days, it is cheaper than ordering one online.

but bro dimitri_can run out of sim for rent....seems like local Telco data roaming is my only choice. I can't really rent a card or mifi due to tour agency haven't confirm my hotel location.

anyone try Singtel or Starhub data roam in Japan? Is it good?

Starhub Conexus uses Docomo, Singtel partner is Softbank. I think both also big telco in japan. But Docomo may have an edge over Softbank, as it is the most established telco.
