depends on your place lah. many don't need to change faceplate but anything can happen.
Momo....u can DIY..but Mafan. I did it many times for my own cust before... out of common courtesy from mr.

hi bro may i know how you do it? just move house so thinking of getting fibre and changing my rooms tell lines to port cat 6rj45 as well. thanks

I also engaged a free lance guy to change all the rooms to cat6 RJ45. In addition he also helped me changed the main panel box to be a 4 port cat6 RJ45. So that whole house can be wired up to fully utilise the fibre plan. Then he recommend me add wirless Asus router in my master room. I did so and wow Speedtest.org download speed max is 60+Mbps on my single band iphone 4 and 220Mbps on my dual band labtop with ASUS RT66 dual band router. At last can fully utilise my fibre plan now.

hi can share contact of the guy and how you do it? thanks?

Lotus sells their stuffs at a premium. If your at SLS, try the lower floors like 3/4flrs, there is a few shops that sells those as well.

okie la. i got near cost price coz i always deal with him.

if u guys got better offer elsewhere by all means can get anywhere. i'm not asking everyone to purposely go there to get ur stuffs.

It will look something like that

Or in another view,

Other than the keystone, you will need a RJ45 faceplate which can look like this for a Single port version

Or like the below for a 4 Port version.

Example of how a keystone might look like when installed in a 1 port faceplate from the back.

level 6 meico lotus. take escalator up to 6th floor. turn right, turn left and right.

look for Henry. have to be friendly with him.

u can google it up la. if u got no network knowledge, its best not to do it on ur own.

the termination point only can make 2-3 mistakes nia.

So you do the 4 keystone and put in the faceplate? The wire so short? Can only retry 2-3 times nia?

Utility Box

Hi all,
Just a question, can the utility box be shifted down or any other place within the area?

can be done, just re-route the cables.
For mine, bring all telephone cat 6 cable down below the circuit breaker, left the TP and the starhub cable up there.

If you shift down the ultility panel, there is no more space to put ont, patch panel and rest of networking stuff.

My Pgl BTO was constructed a bit early (collected keys in Nov 2010) hence my Opennet box was installed separately and i do not have the box as shown below.

Does it mean i am not able to convert all the RJ11 to RJ45 in all my bedrooms?
