But from Minami Senju, it is troublesome?

Bro, when you are at Ikebukuro, go slurp up one big bowl of mutekiya ramen. They open from 10.30am. be there earlier than 10.30 as there will be a Q.
麺創房無敵家 Mutekiya Ramen, Ikebukuro Tokyo | travellingfoodies

So to tie in your itinerary, do the suggested Tocho Observation deck early in the morning thereafter move north to Ikebukuro for ramen then move south to your event at Yoyogi after ramen.

there is a popular takoyaki store at the corner of the main traffic junction. beside garett popcorn i think. always long queue... but i never try before

the crepes in takesh!ta-dori is nice too. there are a few stores selling crepes, all are nice, so it depends on wat flavour u like

Can see my 2 cents below :o

If you are only going to deck and pallet town. u don;t need th pass. but if you are going to the onsen. ffs pls get the pass. I did not get the pass and decided to walk over there from venus fort since it was only 1 station away. big mistake after a long day of walking.

7 May
Osaka Castle
Umeda area
Tenjimbushi Suji Shopping Street

Not sure if this is the correct street but I managed to walk from Shisaibashi to tenjinbushi shopping street in a single day.

9 May
Arashiyama
Ryoanji / Ninnaji (if time permits)
Kinkakuji
Nishiki market

Recommend you to reach at 8am++ at the bamboo grove... by the time u finished it, the temples nearby should have opened at 9am. Kinkakuji and Ryoanji are nearby via bus. Don't take tram to kinkakuji unless u also take a bus after the tram. I walked for 30 mins before i reach :s22:

Hi, I'm also planning a similar route as yours and coincidentally, I'm reaching Tokyo on the 12th of May, just after you are returning to Singapore! Looking forward to see how your planning goes

The aquarium in Osaka is a must see, in my opinion.

Try to visit there if you have time.
