3 bedroom to 1 compressor
2 living to 1 compressor
Thanks, but doesn't that mean the single compressor will be working hard at night?
Is that more economical?

A question:
If there are 5 head units, and two compressors, what's the best way to divide them up?
3 bed rooms to one compressor and 3 head units, living room 2 head units and a compressor
OR
Master bedroom + living room one unit, then the two bedrooms and second living room unit another?
Thanks
Hi all, I'm looking to buy a System 3 air-condition, any particular brand(s) to recommend?
if u got a good budget go for Daikin or ToshibaHi all, I'm looking to buy a System 3 air-condition, any particular brand(s) to recommend?
Depends on your usage.
3 Bedrooms vs 1 CU, 2 Living Rooms vs 1 CU
Install with if only 2 bedrooms or less to be use at night.
Master Bedroom + Living Room vs 1 CU, 2 Bedrooms + 1 Living Room vs 1 CU
Install with for cooler room if all bedrooms to be use at night or living rooms to be use at the same time.
Hi all,
I have an 3 + 1 setup for bedrooms and living room. Recently, my multi split unit starts to give problem. It will trip the RCCB after 2-3 hours of operation, after which it will trip it within minutes of operation if you switch it on again.
My guess is that the compressor is burning out, since the unit has been running for 6 years plus. The compressor is from Toshiba, model RAS3M20 (non-inverter). I am thinking about what compressor to replace. I hope to resuse the pipings to reduce costs and trouble. If I am not wrong, the Refrigerant should be R22. So, it should be better to stick to R22, since the R410 has higher pressure requirements ?
Anyone has any recommendations ?
Thanks.

To zellhwang,
To reuse piping for HDB, cost actually wont save a lot. If possible replace all the piping unless some other reason deters you from doing so like dismantle warerobe, ceiling etc...
If use back piping, R22 will be better & i think the only option is Daikin.
