Couldn't wait for Surface Pro 2, so bought a second hand Surface Pro with Type Cover 2.
Loving it but still not used to using a Windows based tablet.

What if Surface Pro 2 is going to launch next week? </3 hahaha I don't think it's coming to SG any time soon.

How do you guys connect ur surface to the internet when you do not have wifi (in train). MIFI? mobile tethering?

if surface pro 2 comes out next week, u will see me advertise on HWZ garage!

I am using tethering from my phone.

The touchpad is good but hard to use especially for scrolling up and down.

Now thinking whether should subscribe Office 365 or use old office...lol

I'm thinking the same too. lol. Those 128gb SP1 will go at much lower prices.

Office 365 is quite good, though a bit dumb to pay the recurring yearly fee. The savings are good, if you have a few friends sharing the cost. And, not forgetting can save stuff on cloud. It reduces the amount of physical storage needed on the tablet.

And, I was deliberating between 365 and the usual non 365 office.

Will trial run office 365 for a month then see how.

But 140SGD per year do seem abit steep.

Gonna try installing games tonite (Diablo, StarCraft).

Heavy gaming I can play on my MSI GS70.

I think its available in selected Challengers, Harvey Norman store. So far I went to 3 different location of Challengers. I didn't see them selling on any shelves. But Ms online store is selling it in sg alr! Sad to see that there's hardly any retailer selling surface accessories.

Hi All, am in US right now, considering if I should get the Surface Pro 2 256GB or the Dell Venue 11 Pro?

Any recommendations is really welcomed. Really in a dilemma now.

knowing it's not a gaming machine...i only tried out sim 2013 on my pro 2.
so far can run quite smoothly, but have to put on low settings.
cannot really expect too much la, it's not really made for gaming. can run, i'm already happy.

Yes, but problem is that I couldn't find black color.
Got to settle for purple.

Pink & Blue seems to be too much for me especially when I plan to use the Surface Pro mainly for work.

Need to get a Bluetooth mouse later.

Quite possible! Come to think about it, I remember seeing my gorilla glass monitor from my laptop has my keyboard scratch mark.
