some monitor has spec of 5M:1 10M:1 and even 20M:1 may i know what is this? the more M the better or less M better in this case??

The contrast...normally screen contrast possible to go up to 1000:1 max...the figure you see is actually dynamic contrast which is not the "True" contrast from your monitor...

Can you add a section of using a LED TV instead of a monitor? Any pros and cons? Maybe, use a 32" LED TV as a monitor instead.

But dunno which retailer will be selling.
XL2420T is the one of the best 120 Hz gaming monitor.

Considerations for choosing monitor

Pixel pitch on the monitor screen size
In this case, smaller pixel pitch is better, which is more pixel per inch.

Well, I think if the pixel pitch is small, then the words displayed on screen will be smaller, so if you read most of time, that means your eyes will suffer...

Always wonder why need to buy a monitor rather than a Tv which has less function, yet more pricey .... for same size
