I have a simple question. What is the maximum lifespan of BA ciem? Will it last for 5-10 years although I always take care of it?

Balance Armature drivers were originally designed for use with hearing aids, which were designed to be very very long lasting, and as mentioned on a thread on head-fi, 7 years is a good guideline, but usually it's the other components that fails, such as clogging up of the filters or the shell deteriorate and crack before the balance armature drivers come close to breaking down.

Well, usually charts show one thing, the sound you hear will be different, although most of the sound signature will be the same.

Totally different sounding signatures. Totally different.

LSX has a very musical (rather coloured) and very liquid presentation.
The smoothest I've heard in a custom demo.

Mentor is natural sounding, not as musical but very non-fatiguing presentation.

Will never think they came from the same place. :D

I think the driver configuration is the same for both, just that they have different tuning.

JH Audio is offered by Jaben.

There are so many brands. I would suggest you take your time to shop around, try everything if possible, and find what you like.

It may be cheaper to order the JH13 from JH Audio website direct though.

Wait... But I thought E1 also dealing for 1964 Ears?

I believe they are...

Anyway, i feel we are so fortunate to have such a large array of CIEM options from different brands in Singapore.

The cons will be too much options to pick the one for you out of all of them..

Indeed! I think there's about 20 different brands of CIEMs here! And more are coming!

Other brands come and go, but FutureSonics is love, FutureSonics is life.

;P

Too bad there's no demo units available here.
