I really like Han Ha Rum in Causeway Bay. Korean BBQ. Great with a group of friends. (Kimchiii!!)

This taiwanese dumpling place is incredible:
八方雲集鍋貼水餃專門店 - Taiwan Wonton/Dumpling in Hung Hom Hong Kong | OpenRice Hong Kong
Only tried the Hung Hom branch, but there's a few other ones around.

Dim sum is a given. Have it anywhere, it's always good! Tim Ho Wan is the Michelin-starred one. It's pretty damn good, but get there *early* to get a ticket to get in. It's a tiny space, which sells out daily and they don't take reservations. But that's part of the charm!

If you don't mind traveling 30-60mins from town area to Tuen Mun area. Google for 三聖墟海鮮市場. Buy the seafood from the stalls, and bring to the surrounding resturants and the charge a cooking fee based on weight.

I normally patronize 興記– 香港屯門的粵菜(廣東) 海鮮大牌檔.

For those who already love Tim Ho Wan, Hong Kong's menu is almost half the price of Singapore.

Do visit their Hong Kong Tim Ho Wan then.

This is taken at their Fortress Hill branch. Spacious, no queue and cheap.

I wouldn't recommend Yung Kee. If you're in Central, check out Yat Lok instead. Go before the meal crowd arrives.

Second this. Haven't tried Yung Kee but heard their prices are more expensive and less flexible with the goose as must order half. Yat Lok goose was amazingly crispy man.

For dim sum, I highly recommend dim sum square near Sheung Wan. It's quite a small place in Fu Fai Commercial centre. Their crispy char siew pau is damnnnn shiok. I alone ate 5.5 of them. They may be slightly smaller than THW's, but definitely better tasting.

To the TS,

If you can get up during breakfast hours, head to Central and try Yue Hing. Below is a pic of their breakfast sandwich (they only do sandwiches in the morning). Corned beef, cabbage, egg and peanut butter in wholemeal bread.

A few steps away is Wai Kee Congee Shop. There's numerous things to order there. Try their radish cake and smokey tasting bee hoon. There's also a glutinous rice dumpling with mung beans and pork fat.

You can also check out their steamed egg/milk puddings or sandwiches from various places e.g. Australia Dairy Milk Company, Yee Shun Milk Company
