To ReiszRie,
33 sqm requires 18k btu.
24k will slightly oversized but its good to oversize.
Hi Bros,
Need some expert opinions from you guys. Am currently deciding between this 2 models for new house - 4Room BTO. Mitsubishi StarMex System 3 Inverter VS Panasonic Inverter EcoNavi
Mitsubishi StarMex System 3 Inverter
- Easier to clean
- Heard from colleagues that the parts are of higher quality kind
Panasonic Inverter EcoNavi
- Price is cheaper
- Advanced nanoe-G Air Purifying
- Human Activity Sensor and Sunlight Sensor etc
Any people got experiences/feedback with the above 2 models ?
Thanks in advance !

How's the workmanship of the installation?cheapest aircon promotion is from TONG LIM.
To ReiszRie,
Upsizing will not damage the unit & might help to save energy (not use extra power) in the long run.
From 18k, the next will be 24k for most brands.
To Cantona,
I will recommend Mit Electric Starmex over MHI.
Anytime.
Hello ReiszRie,
Agree with what Terumo have mentioned. Other than that, the output of the compressor weakens with age hence if you are getting an 18K BTU, the output might reduce as your compressor ages. Personally, 24K BTU might be a better option. Not forgetting other factors such as morning and afternoon sun, design factors (living room is L shape) etc.
Best Regards,
Jason Tham
thank you to both terumo and maxicoolservices, went with a 24k unit
Good prices at Tong Lim at a glance .
