They clean for pvc outlet pipe lah, seriously if they do with copper pipes.

They flushed the interior and using a build in net to collect the water when it's blow out. The servicing was done by IFC that time.

But GC told me for their servicing, they will remove the whole unit and clean it.

Once remove out whole thing is good, but who can guaranty gas leak after that?

Like my sharing for apply extra filter, even over a year still can avoid they serving.

If the water dripping then just going for serving.

This image is taken from my 5 yrs old GE24VA easy clean can be slot in to wipe out around 60% dust on blower behind.

But after remove out the fan blower still look like not so bad.
Maybe has applied on extra filter, but heat exchange coil not need chemical wash at all, cause can't found the dust/debris stick over.

For ME Sys 2, is it better to install compressor unit MXY2E20VA or MXY3A28VA for MSYGE1OVA x 2 units? What is the pro & con? Save more on electric bills?

The MXY2E20VA is more than enough for 2 10K BTU spilt unit.

No point wasting more electric bill on bigger BTU compressor unless you need it.

Fyi, I am using MXY2E20VA on my MSYGE1OVA and MSYGE13VA.

You can refer the all table

But honest on 3A28VA more save energy than 2E20VA

For example here :
20va : 10 + 10 = 1.44kw
28va : 10 + 10 = 1.18kw

The different between 260w :)

Ya correct.
Cause bigger capacity = kw or btu can be using power input lesser

Just the specs data only, in real life we dunno.

I very confuse leh, SA told me if don't intend to install the 3rd fan coil in living room, no point getting a much bigger compressor, higher electricity bills. I dunno, that's y I asked...

Simply put it this way, if your compressor BTU ( 18K ) is enough to cater to 2 units of blower at 10K BTU which is so.

Thus you are Ok and no need to waste extra money and electric bill for a bigger compressor.

But if you add in another blower, then u will have a problem if u on all the 3 units in one shot thus a bigger compressor will be more effective.

To kennyctf,

For 2 x GE10,
The MXY-2E20 is sufficent.
No point getting the 3a28, you will not utilize the additonal 7k btu capacity.
